If you want to get to the desktop on your Windows 11 PC but have loads of open applications in the way, you can use the Show Desktop button on the taskbar or one of several nifty keyboard shortcuts to get the job done.

Minimizing each window one by one just to get a look at your desktop is a waste of time.

Instead, Windows 11 offers the Show Desktop button, which gives you a quick look at your desktop.

If you’re coming in from a previous version of Windows (such as Windows 10), you probably already know about theShow Desktop button.
